Labor Day Holiday Travel
Despite the rise in gasoline prices in the last few weeks some thirty-three million people will be traveling this Labor Day weekend. That’s a 3% increase over last year according to AAA. The vast majority of those travelers – 85% — will let the rubber hit the road and travel by car. Most travelers will cover a distance of 50 -200 miles. With time at a premium and gas prices high the idea is to stay close to home. The major U.S. cities will be very crowded over the long weekend, as visitors get in their back-to-school and fall shopping, and enjoy theme parks, restaurants, theatres and museums.
Make the most of the holiday and have a great vacation. Be sure to call or stop by if we can help with some extra money to take advantage of the big weekend sales. Remember, we’re almost always a better deal than payday or title-type lenders.
Stay alert out there on the roads and be safe!!
