What do we do?
How does CSO protect my personal information?To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards i.e. computer virus protection software, firewalls, 128 bit Secure Socket Layer. Only authorized employees have access.
How does CSO collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you:

If we extend credit to a consumer, or guarantee credit offered to a consumer by an unaffiliated 3rd party lender, we will consider the bank account information provided by the consumer as eligible for us to process payments against. In addition, as part of our information collection process, we may detect additional bank accounts under the ownership of the consumer. We will consider any information collected about these additional accounts as part of the consumer’s application and may use such information in our underwriting process. Vermont residents: We will not disclose information about you with affiliates or non-affiliated, third party companies or financial institutions, other than as required or permitted by law, without your express permission. California residents: We will not share information we collect about you with affiliated or non-affiliated third parties, except in the limited circumstances permitted under state law, or if you give us your permission.
